Sweet Vinyasa: Contemplation and Love: Wednesday, April 24, 2014

Inspired by Meister Eckhart's suggested alignment "what we receive in comtemplation, we give out in love", we practiced expressing the love we experienced on the inside.

We also leaned in on the Shiva Sutras 2.1 and 2.5.

Sweet Vinyasa: Balanced intelligence: Monday, January 14, 2014

Ravi Ravindra introduced samadhi as "balanced intelligence", one of the three ways of seeing in the practice of samyama.

One way of seeing samadhi is the balance of effort and surrender (yoga sutra 1.12) and another way is through the body finding effort and ease (sutra 2.46), seated deep within the body. We played in the dance of Shiva as a physical manifestion of an inner understanding of this teaching of yoga sages.
