Yoga for Recovery 3.8.10

Spent a wonderful afternoon in a Bakti workshop with Sean Johnson and the Wild Lotus Band. He talked about sharing stories as a bakti practice and weaving it into asana. I notice the teachers I like the most do this. So tonight I tried weaving in the affictions (attachments) as suggested in the yoga sutras as a means to a story. It was a way to 'add on' to some of the things I've been teaching. Its the first time I've weaved so significantly through the practice. In some ways it flowed really naturally, I think in part because I felt really in tune to the participants.

Anyway, its a start.

I think Sean Johnson is some kind of wonderful.
