Had a smaller than usual group so it was nice to give some individual attention. I think, generally speaking, that I've been moving too slow in the practice at Prototypes. Perhaps because there is so much is going on in treatment, to ask them to sit still for centering and the first few postures isn't very effective. It might be better for these mini savasasanas later on in the practice after some movement.
I totally lost their attention at the end. Not sure what that was about. Felt like savasana was where to go so opted out of bridge or spine twist. Think it was a good call because none of them fidigited or moved. We did a second check in after the practice, which is a good place to 'notice' the practice.
I am grateful everyday I get to teach these women. Today was no exception and was especially sweet since we were a smaller group.
Administratively I took charge of changing this class session from 2 to 3.15 so that we don't practice just after lunch. I'm glad I spoke up about it, as it is much more comfortable for the women.
