Vinyasa Basics 4.8.10

Smaller class than usual, we played with some fresh hip openers, per a request. Talked about ahimsa and using breath and awareness to create opening.

Played with the heel lift in warrior II to get a little deeper into the hip.

This flow came unplanned. Felt I could take more risks at being spontaneous with this group. I like some things as a teaching style about doing this, but don't feel I'd like to make it a regular thing. I feel I need more experience teaching, but it is easier and more comfortable than it used to be.

I"m reading Doug Keller's "Heart of a Yogi' and am feeling a deeper personal connection to philosophy and am sometimes suprised when things come to me when I teach an asana class.
